What is Chai again? Chai is typically a spiced milk tea made up of rich black tea with milk and spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and black pepper.
SPICES! This is the season for spices, so let’s see what we got:💃
✨ Cardamom: detoxifies, helps absorbs nutrition, and it is beneficials for the heart function
✨ Cinnamon: supports weight loss, cures sugar-cravings between meals, controls blood sugar levels
✨ Allspice: lowers inflammation, soothes the stomach, aids with constipation/bloating/cramps
✨ Cloves: anti-inflammatory, antioxidants, decreased mucous in the body
So, let’s celebrate these delicious spices in this yummy CHAI SPICE SMOOTHIE:
Chai Spice Smoothie
- 1 banana
- 1-2 Medjool date (depending on how much sweetness you want)
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cardamom
- ⅛ teaspoon ground allspice
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Combine all of the ingredients in your blender until you get a smooth mixture. Sprinkle some more cinnamon on top and enjoy!
