Ho Ho Ho Holiday SALAD. WHAT? Not cookies, cake, or peppermint bark?
Yes. I am sure it would be so much more relatable if I could tell you that I am addicted to sweets. Well, I am not! And I never will be. SWEETS are just not my jive.
I LOVE a good SALAD! So, here I am, treating YOU with MY favorite treats: GREENS.
And this oil-free dressing is surely something you might enjoy, even with all of the sweets.
How about a dressing with Red Peppers and Cilantro?
✨ Red pepper is packed with skin-brightening vitamins C, A and K. These vitamins prevent cell damage, premature aging, and reduce inflammation
✨ Cilantro has cleansing and detoxifying properties!
AND the dressing is OIL-FREE and super-yummy!
Oil-Free Red Pepper & Cilantro Dressing
- ½ red pepper, seeded and cored
- ¾ cup fresh cilantro
- 1 small tomato
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 ½ Tbs. of lemon juice
- ½ tsp. Celtic sea salt
- 1 Tbs. filtered water
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp. organic, unpasteurized miso paste or sea salt
- 1 tsp. raw apple cider vinegar
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Enjoy fresh, or store up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
